Points and scoring
The scoring for this contest is not
complicated but does require a little extra effort on your part to make it go
smoothly. Local contacts means contacts made with fellow countrymen. DX is a QSO
with a foriegn country. Alaska and Hawaii are considered seperate
countries.
Each QSO will fall into ONLY one of the following four
categories. Please ensure that you score each QSO only once.
1. The total
number of contacts made with other Six Club members. Multiply that by three (3)
and then the number of grids in this category.
2. The total number of local
contacts made. Multiply that by one (1) and then by the number of grids in this
category. (Exclude QSO's made with other Six Club members.)
3. The total
number of DX contacts made. Multiply that by two (2) and then by the number of
grids in this category. (Exclude QSO's made with other Six Club members.)
4.
The total number of digital contacts made. Multiply that by three (3) and then
by the number of grids in this category. (Exclude QSO's made with other Six Club
members.)
Now add the four categories together for your total
score.
